Ask Isadora: Red Nipples

Red Nipples

* I just finished reading a novel by Rita May Brown in which one of the characters has a thing for rouged nipples. He asks his wife to rouge hers when they have sex and he paints red nipples on female figurines. I think I remember seeing something on TV years ago, an English film starring Bob Hoskins, in which the lead character wants his wife to put rouge on her nipples too. No one I know, male or female, has ever heard of this practice or thinks it’s a turn-on. Who does this? Anybody?

If someone somewhere can imagine it someone somewhere will find it hot and try it. That goes for absolutely anything from jerking off into the salad dressing of an assembled dinner party (a letter I received years ago that still causes comments today) to rouging a woman’s nipples. Perhaps you know a bunch of vanilla or sexually unadventurous people. A Google search for rouged nipples turns up almost 7000 entries so some people are doing it, if not the ones you know.

* In women who squirt where does the squirt come from? I’ve watched porn videos and it looks like it’s coming from inside the pussy and it looks like urine! I would think it would be like some sort of semen. I even wonder if there are any actual girls or women who squirt. If what they squirt is urine that wouldn’t be very sanitary or even sexually romantic, would it?

“Romantic” is in the eye of the beholder. Assholes and cocksuckers are very romantic to many people but you sure wouldn’t know it from listening to a bunch of guys bickering in a bar. As much as it has been studied, what is squirted or ejaculated from women who do is still not absolutely defined or accepted by the scientific community. The liquid is clear, not like male ejaculate, and it does contain some urine since it comes out of the same opening right near but not from the vagina. Depending on which study one reads, anywhere from 10 to 50% of women have had the experience of squirting.

* Okay, so I’m doing it. After much urging from several friends who have found someone online and from my mother, I am looking into online matchmaking. I don ‘t know why it’s any better than meeting someone in real life but I’m willing to give it a try. Do you have any suggestions on making it work? Is one site you know of better than another?

Certain matchmaking sites are free and open to everyone. Others specialize in fat people and their admirers, Jewish people, older people, spiritual people, kinky people, gay people. There probably is one that specializes in older gay kinky fat spiritual Jews, for all I know. Meeting someone online, or searching that way, has its plusses and minuses. Chief among the positive factors is that you can cast a wider net, encountering those you never would in places you usually go. Another plus is that you can be very specific in asking for what you want in anything from shared feelings about the stock market to patterns of body hair, things it would take you some time and ingenuity to discover about someone you meet casually in person. A major negative is that it’s easier to misrepresent oneself and liars and players abound. So if you think of placing an ad and/or answering them as simply another tool you use in your sweetie search you won’t be set up for major disappointment. Just like bar hopping and church going, online matchmaking works when it does.
